I was born in Reinosa, Cantabria, on a snowy day with a full moon on a winter solstice.
This fact may not have any relationship with what I am going to tell, but I like to start like this. Although it is true that growing up surrounded by the Cantabrian mountain range, I was already captivated by high mountain landscapes from a very young age, no matter if it was in winter or summer, in the morning or at dusk… I always found something magical in them. Above all, being able to see the mountain range from the highest point you could reach. On some occasions, the sunlight was placed in such a way that it killed all the colors and turned the landscape into a gradient from black to white, in which each hillside was distinguished, each one with an increasingly paler shade of gray that finally ended up joining the sky on the horizon, giving you a floating sensation.
I have always been obsessed with those landscapes, so minimalist but so full of details.
This obsession has led me to represent these landscapes in different ways, each one with artistic tools that I learned along the way. I first learned photography, so one of them is an image gallery.
Then I learned programming, which is why I ended up programming a code in Processing, which generates a landscape of this type infinitely, delving deeper into that sensation of floating, of flying.
